On Tuesday, 28 November 2017, two suspects were shot and wounded on a farm situated in the Klapmuts district, in the Western Cape.
Apparently, the suspects were spotted entering the farm, and the community security was alerted. Security acted swiftly and responded the attempted farm attack.
The suspects fired shots, and a gun battle ensued, wounding the two suspects. Both of the suspects were taken to hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the circumstances around the shooting and report that the farmer was not wounded during the incident.
