Protest in Meyerton Gauteng – UPDATE

Despite the Bargaining Council’s decision yesterday,13 July 2016, that no strike is allowed at the Midvaal Local Municipality, angry SAMWU employees have decided to ignore the ruling and continue with violent protests this morning. Threats of destruction to the main offices were made earlier, and the municipality has been evacuated to ensure the safety of staff members.

South Africa is a destructive nation. protests are happening everyday, and the damage caused is only a set back. Protesters are not achieving anything, but destroying public property. It is the same destructive behavior that happens all the time.
