Another brutal murder of a smallholding farmer on Saturday, February 25.
The body of a man Pieter Jacobs (79) was found by his son on his smallholding in the Hartswater area, Francis Baard District, Northern Cape.
Unknown suspects murdered Jacobs who lived alone on a smallholding. The police forensics were on the scene around 12H50 after the son found his deceased father around 07H00.
The police do not have details on how Jacobs was murdered, the number of suspects and if any items were stolen, but will release an updated report today.
