There was a farm attack 13 December 2015 in the Tuinplaas area.
The owner went to switch off water pumps after he drove, his daughter saw two black men climbing through a wire fence that surrounds the home. She and her mother locked the house gate.
The two trespassers ripped the security door off its hinges.
Mother and daughter ran to in the bedroom where the gun safe was.
While the mother went to get the shotgun from the safe, her daughter tried to keep the door closed by pushing against the attackers. The attackers however, broke down the door and threw the door on top of her. The mother shot at the attackers, but she missed.
The shot was enough to scare off the attackers.
Farmers, SAPD , HPG trackers and warrant officer Herbst was on the scene.
Footprints were followed in the direction of the Nylstroom road. It started to rain and tracks were erased. Thanks to everyone who helped.
