Cape Town – Three paramedics were held at gunpoint early on Wednesday morning while trying to save a 5-year-old girl’s life.
Shortly after midnight, ER24 dispatched an ambulance and rapid response vehicle to a house in Khayelitsha for the little girl who was having seizures.
“The paramedics were busy in the ambulance stabilising the little girl when one of the doors flung open and a gun [was] pointed at them,” ER24 said.
The child’s mother was also in the ambulance at the time of the incident.
