On Monday night a farmer was shot once in the hip and once in the shoulder on a farm outside Nelspruit.
The farm attack happened just outside Nelspruit and the family was held up by the attackers for an hour.
The man was rushed to the hospital.
The farm attackers fled the scene in a stolen silver Toyota Fortuner (Reg number HCJ 539 MP).
The family could not be identified but please be on the look out for the stolen vehicle.
