Vredendal, South Africa – Koba Odendaal (74), found in a pool of blood in her bedroom on a farm near Vredendal in another gruesome murder.
Odendaal was strangled with a scarf and sustained three deep stab wounds on the right side of her neck.
Her daughter, Marita Mather said it looked as if her mother’s throat were cut, Die Burger reported.
Mather said she went home for lunch when she made the gruesome discovery. The killers were probably still in the house when she arrived home, but fled.
Only Odendaal’s wallet with R100 and her phone was stolen.
The police’s Frederick van Wyk says, “A murder case was opened for investigation on Tuesday after the woman’s body was found. No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.”
