Mr. Paul Braak (80) and his wife Maggie, of the farm Kroonvlei in the Cornelia district, were attacked on April 6, 2015.
Mr. Braak was busy in the garden when he was attacked by an unknown man.
The villain used the same garden fork to assault the owner.
The same garden fork was also used to attack Mrs. Braak who was in the house. Nothing appears to be missing – he simply walked out again.
The attacker fled and is still at large.
He was wearing a green overall with torn pants and a white hat at the time of the attack.
The farmers frantically searched for him, roads were closed and cordoned off, but he evaded them.
The couple was taken to hospital for treatment.
Cornelia Police are investigating the case.
