In this video by AfriForum, wee see how a survivor of a violent and brutal farm attack in Hankey reveals the details of the horror she and her young children had to endure. The woman was shot, raped in front of her daughter (13) and the children were bound with wire assaulted and traumatised. The attacker wanted her son to rape her during the ordeal. The family was kidnapped and taken to a local ATM to draw money for the attacker when she managed to escape. “We were tortured for 4 hours. I can only describe that night as if we were hunted like wild animals. We were tied up, shot and raped.”
