Six injured in a head-on collision in Mpumalanga

Six people were injured in a head-on collision between two light motor vehicles on the R546 between Embalenhle and Evander in Mpumalanga in the early hours of this morning.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 03h09 to find the two cars roughly 50 meters apart from each other. The 40-year-old male driver of the first vehicle, a white Golf, was found to have sustained moderate injuries. ER24 treated and transported him to Evander Provincial Hospital for further care.

The male driver of the silver Datsun on scene was found roughly 10 meters from the car, having been ejected. He had suffered serious injuries and was transported with another private service on the scene. Our paramedics then found four passengers from the Datsun all having suffered moderate injuries. Three females and one male all aged between 17 and 30 were treated and transported to Evander Provincial Hospital for further care.

All relevant law enforcement were on scene.
