School children Injured in a mini-bus taxi crash in Pietermaritzburg

At 07H40 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision near a school on Syringa Road in Woodlands Pietermaritzburg.

Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi occupied by school children collided with a light motor vehicle.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that six children had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
