At 09H00 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Pedestrian vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive, Umhlanga Ridge.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 29-year-old male was struck down by a light motor vehicle while crossing the road.
The patient sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic.
Once stabilized the patient was transported to hospital for further treatment.
The Durban North SAPS was in attendance.
