Train derailed in Cato Ridge

Train number 1076 EMU number 156, leading coach (Cato Ridge side) lying on the side and second coach first bogie derailed and the other coaches are fine.

Train number 6202 empty cement trucks, last wagon of the detached load on Cato Ridge side derailed, six wagons that were left behind three of those wagons derailed.

The expected time of recovery completion is Sunday provided crane is on site within 24 hours thereafter the recovery of infrastructure will resume.

Immediate cause of the accident is improper communication between the TFR TCO & TFR Signal Technician.

Train 6202 intended route was to proceed on number one line but it ended up on number two lline.

Train 1076 intended route was to proceed on number two line.

Both trains were in motion when the incident happened.
