Launch of the Advanced Driving Academy Pilot Programme by Putco

The MECs of Transport in Gauteng and Mpumalanga recently raised concerns following accidents involving Putco buses along R573 Moloto corridor. The Managing Director of Putco, made a commitment to send the first 50 bus drivers for an advanced defensive driving training at Gerotek, an agency of Amscor.

Bus company Putco (Pty) Limited and Gerotek are TETA Accredited Driver Training Institutions. They will enter into a partnership and share best practice, in an effort to reduce road accidents. The two parties will be signing a Letter of Intent and later an MoU.

Transport MECs or both Gauteng and Mpumalanga will be in attendance.
