Gauteng: At 20H14 Saturday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M1 near the near Gold Reef City.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male pedestrian was struck down by a mini-bus taxi while crossing the road.
When medics arrived on scene they found the patient in a serious condition.
The patient was treated on scene and once stabilised were transported Netcare 911 ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
