Eighteen injured following taxi rollover in Denge, KZN

Eighteen people were left injured in the early hours of this morning following a taxi rollover on the MR423 in Denge, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi upright on the side of the road. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that eighteen people, including several children, had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
It is understood that the passenger had been on their way to a church gathering when the incident occurred.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
