One man was killed and 32 others injured this afternoon following a collision between a minibus taxi and two light motor vehicles at the R511 and N14 Road intersection in Diepsloot.

ER24 paramedics, along with several other services, arrived on the scene at 13h03 to find the minibus on the side of the road while the two-light motor vehicles were found in the right-hand lane. Several people were found scattered around the scene.

Local authorities began to close off the road while paramedics set up a triage area.
