Taking to the Sanlam Cape Mile like a fish to water, well-known South African radio personality, Jeremy Harris will line up for the 4th consecutive year when he takes on the 5th annual Sanlam Cape Mile brought to you by Sanlam Investments at the Eikenhof Dam on Sunday, 17 February 2019.

“Swimming is a full body, low impact exercise that keeps you fit, healthy and in good shape,” says Harris.  “Being an open water swim, the Sanlam Cape Mile allows you to break away from the norm and just enjoy nature and the outdoors.  The event is well organized.  With safety being of paramount importance, the Sanlam Cape Mile is a great family event.”

“I love the Eikenhof Dam,” continues Harris.  “The water is clean and the temperature is perfect making the mile swim easy to get through.  My goal is to improve on my previous times.  I’m not very fast, but speed is important to me.  I’m looking forward to catching up with good friends and fellow competitors.  There is a lot of chatter both in and out of the water.”
