Flames from a vehicle fire spread to a home on Camphor Close in Trenance Park – KZN today (Thursday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the property at approximately 11:38 after residents noticed a vehicle on fire in their neighbours yard. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival discovered the shell of an Opel Astra on fire.
The car was parked next to the house which resulted in the roof catching alight and the bedroom windows to shatter. Reaction Officers contained the blaze with fire extinguishers. The homeowner was not on the property at the time.
Circumstances leading up to the fire could not be confirmed.
