Emer-G-Med paramedics together with Netcare911 responded to Union Crescent in Park Hill, Durban North for reports of a shooting.
On arrival on the scene, paramedics found Blue Security, the South African Police Services, and other private security in attendance.
Closer inspection found a Volkswagen polo peppered with high calibre bullet holes.
An adult male and female sustained gunshot wounds and were in critical condition.
Advanced Life Support paramedics worked fervently to stabilize the patients before they were transported by ambulances to a nearby hospital for further definitive care.
The facts surrounding the incident and the events preceding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation….
