Two people were injured after the bakkie they were traveling in overturned on Buffelsdraai Road in Buffelsdraai – KZN.
Residents in the area contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting assistance for the driver and his passenger who were trapped in the wreckage.
Reaction Officers and RUSA Medics were immediately dispatched and on arrival, discovered a white Kia K2700 bakkie lying on its side.
The occupants were removed from the vehicle by the public prior to the arrival of First Responders.
The driver informed RUSA Members that he was traveling down a steep road when his brakes failed. He veered off the road and climbed an embankment which resulted in the vehicle overturning.
Both occupants suffered minor injuries.
