Taxi rollover leaves one dead, 21 injured on Woodmead Drive in Sunninghill.

One person was killed and 21 others injured on Friday night following a taxi rollover on Woodmead Drive in Sunninghill.
ER24 paramedics, along with several other services, arrived on the scene shortly after 18h00 to find the taxi lying on its side on the side of the road. Several passengers from the taxi were found scattered around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that one man had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
21 other patients were attended to on the scene. Assessments showed that the injuries ranged from minor to serious. 
The patients were treated for their injuries and the seriously injured provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patients were transported to various hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
