Taxi and car collide leaving eight injured at Henley Dam

Eight people were left injured yesterday afternoon when a taxi and light motor vehicle collided on Edendale Road in Henley Dam, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 14h50 to find the taxi and light motor vehicle in the middle of the road. Several patients were found walking around on the scene.

Medics assessed the patients and found that eight people had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The patients were treated for their injuries, and one provided with pain-relief medication, before they were transported to hospitals in the area for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
