Emer-G-Med Paramedics are currently in attendance at a shooting incident at a shopping centre on Tara Road on the Bluff in Durban.
Reports from the scene are that two adults have sustained gunshot wounds with one person being left in critical condition.
Advanced Life Support paramedics are currently working to stabilize the injured before taking them to a nearby hospital for further definitive care.
The facts surrounding the incident and the events preceeding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
