Pedestrian killed, motorcyclist airlifted to a nearby hospital in Bluff road collision

Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian on Bluff Road on the Bluff, south of Durban.

On arrival on scene a male believed to be approximately forty years of age was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.

A male motorcyclist aged approximately twenty years old, was found in a critical condition and several advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilize him before he was airlifted by the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required….
