A short while ago IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of a shooting in Tongaat a high school in Tongaat.
Upon the arrival of advanced life support paramedics, witness reports indicate that a man, reportedly a taxi owner, was looking at cars on the roadside, when a vehicle pulled up and fired multiple shots, all hitting the man.
Advanced life support paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained fatal injuries.
Spent AK47 cartridges were located on the scene.
Authorities were also on the scene of the shooting for assistance.
