An elderly female motorist has been left with moderate injuries following a collision involving two light motor vehicles in the Point Waterfront area this afternoon.
Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find the two vehicles had collided in a side impact, with the female driver still seated in her vehicle, having suffered moderate injuries.
Intermediate Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize her, before she was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
The cause of the collision is unknown and the local authorities will investigate accordingly.
