The fire has been extinguished and recovery operations are now underway at the site of the earlier truck crash on the N3 Toll Route (northbound, between Frankfort/Vrede and Roadside/Reitz interchanges).
ALL northbound lanes (towards Gauteng) remain CLOSED. Northbound traffic continues to be accommodated via contra-flow on the southbound carriageway. Road users are advised to continue to expect congestion. Slow down and please approach the area with caution.
