VRMED responded to reports of a car that rolled at Alexander Road in Buitesig Bloemfontein early Saturday morning.
On arrival, crews found a vehicle that rolled into the Bloemspruit River.
Mangaung Fire and Rescue, SAPS divers, and FSEMS College Rescue responded to the scene.
The crews were faced with difficult terrain during the rescue operation.
Unfortunately, one of the three occupants drowned after being trapped inside the vehicle.
The remaining patient were transported to hospital for further treatment….
