A male motorcyclist has been killed in a high-speed collision between a motorbike and a light motor vehicle on Allendale Road late Saturday afternoon.
Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man lying on the roadway having suffered critical injuries and in a state of cardiac arrest. Advanced life support paramedics exhausted cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts for close to an hour, however, they were unsuccessful and the man was declared dead on the scene.
There were no injuries sustained by the occupants of the vehicle.
