Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R103 in Ashburton, uMgungundlovu.
Reports indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a motorcycle were involved in a head-on collision.
When medics arrived on the scene, they found the motorcyclist had sustained moderate injuries.
The patient, an adult male, was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic.
Once stabilised, the patient was transported to the hospital for further care.
