Two females were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a house in Buffelsdraai – KZN this afternoon (Friday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received multiple calls for assistance from residents in the area at approximately 18:16. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered two females lying on an embankment between homes.
It was established that they were travelling down a steep and winding road when a three-year-old boy seated on the passengers' lap engaged the handbrake. The silver Honda Jazz veered off the road and crashed through a house that was partially developed. Both females were transported to hospital for moderate injuries while the minor escaped injury.
The house collapsed due to the accident.
