The executive authority visited the Bethlehem testing station following numerous complaints about the testing station. The registration authorities are part of the core services that the department delivers to the Free State people.
The MEC highlighted that testing stations' working conditions should be conducive and efficient because the department generates revenue from them and they are critical to both vehicles and drivers to comply with the regulations and National Road
Traffic Act. Registration authorities that are efficient remain a priority to the department.
