KwaZulu-Natal: At 19H15 Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on the N2 south bound just before the Sibaya offramp near Umhlanga.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a mini-bus taxi with seven occupants lost control resulting in the taxi rolling several times ejecting some of the passengers, seriously injury many of the occupants.
All the patients were treated on scene with some of the patients requiring advanced life support intervention.
All the injured have been transported by various services to hospital for further assessment and care.
Necessary authorities were on scene and will investigate further.
