Netcare 911 responded to a pedestrian-vehicle collision on the Soweto Highway near the N17 in Orlando. Johannesburg.
Reports indicate that a JMPD police official was struck down while signaling for a motorist to pull over.
When medics arrived on the scene, they found the officer in a serious condition that was rapid deterioration.
The patient was treated on scene by emergency care practitioners and once stabilised was transported by Netcare 911 helicopter to the hospital for further care….
