IPSS Medical and IPSS Search and Rescue are on scene of a truck accident on the R614. Reports from the scene indicate that the truck lost control, rolling down a steep embankment.
Sadly one person succumbed to their injuries and was declared on scene. The remaining three patients, all in serious condition were able to be extricated by community members before the arrival of medical personnel.
The injured are under the care of IPSS Medical and EMRS, and with the assistance of IPSS Search and Rescue, community members and SAPS, will be carried to the waiting ambulances.
A big thank you to the local community, SAPS and EMRS for all their assistance.
