KwaZulu-Natal: At 17H54 Wednesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting on the corners of North Coast and Effingham Road in Briardene Durban.
Reports indicate that an elderly female was shot in the right thigh while waiting on the side of the road for a bus.
When medics arrived on scene, they found the lady unresponsive on the floor, noting a large open wound as well as extensive blood loss.
On scene was Marshall Security, Greenwood Park SAPS and Government ems.
The women was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner and once stabilised was transported to hospital for further care….
