Emer-G-Med paramedics together with multiple emergency service agencies responded to a serious collision involving a light motor vehicle and a cyclist on the R374 in the Muldersdrift area.
On arrival on the scene, an elderly male cyclist was found in critical condition. Emergency Care Practitioners worked fervently to stabilize him before a decision was made to airlift him with the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured in the incident….
