The Cableway service is currently closed for maintenance until 28 August 2022, but was kindly re-opened to carry a Wilderness Search And Rescue (WSAR) team up to the top of Table Mountain.
An Irish tourist had injured her ankle, while hiking on Fountain Ledge at around midday on Monday July 25, 2022.
She was quickly reached and secured by the rescue team.

The Cableway Company is sincerely thanked for aiding both WSAR and the patient.
