On Tuesday morning, IPSS Medical Rescue received a call for assistance in the Glendale area after a biker had fallen, sustaining serious injuries.
On arrival of IPSS Medical paramedics, it was quickly established that due to the nature of his injuries and the inaccessibility of the area, the patient would need to be airlifted.
The Air Mercy Service (AMS) Medivac helicopter was activated, and IPSS Medical advanced life support worked to stabilise the patients' injuries. The biker has been airlifted to a Level 1 Trauma Facility to receive the treatment required.
