KZN: 12 Injured in R56 Richmond crash.

At around 08H45 on Saturday 14 April 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious crash on the R56 in the Thornville area, Richmond, KwaZula Natal.

Upon arrival, parmedics from Netcare 911 and various other ambulance services found that a minibus taxi and a car had collided and the minbus had overturned. The incident occured at the turn off to the Thornville SAPS.

Netcare 911 Advanced Life Support paramedics attended to a man who was in a critical condition and he was placed on a ventilator at the scene.
Four people sustained minor to moderate injuries and seven sustained minor injuries.

The injured were transported by various ambulances to different hospitals for further care.
