Sixteen people have sustained various injuries after the Taxi they were in somehow lost control and overturned on the N3 South Bound near Peacevale this morning.
Around 8 am Rescue Care and Meditech Paramedics arrived on the scene to find a fully laden taxi had overturned. Multiple passengers had been injured and immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist. A total of sixteen people had sustained various injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various Hospitals for the further care that they required. Traffic was severely affected as multiple resources were busy treating the injured.
At this stage, the events leading up the single-vehicle rolling is unknown, however, SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further
