About Asphalt Construction Services

About Asphalt Construction Services (Pty) Ltd is a Cape Town–based civil construction and bitumen surfacing specialist serving industrial, commercial, retail, and private-sector clients. Founded on a commitment to quality workmanship and SABS-approved materials, the company has grown into a multi-service group under the Asphalt Construction Services umbrella. Every project is closely supervised and quality-checked to ensure results that meet or exceed industry benchmarks.

A Brief History

Tar-A-Way was founded in September 2000 by Ian Venter, who turned a lifelong passion for construction into a thriving business. Over two decades later, the company has expanded into a group of entities offering a full spectrum of asphalt and civil services, with Ian still personally overseeing quality control across all operations.
