In this video by Suidlanders Media we see how approximately 290 hectares of private property in the South of Johannesburg is systematically been taken over. The video shows how over a period of time the land is simply been illegally occupied and illegal electrical connections made. Political rhetoric concerning land in South Africa is having a larger effect than most people realize. The video shows this large scale land grabbing.
The government is doing nothing about it and Eskom, with regard the illegal connections even less. Clearly the government has chosen sides!
