In this video, by Christiaan Baron, created by DW news, it shows that redistributed viable farms in South Africa are a catastrophe. Viable, functional and profitable farms in black hands, as was the case in Zimbabwe, are standing idle, destroyed and dysfunctional. There are numerous examples of the failed farms in black hands and the on going land reform program by the ANC government is not only destroying the farm lands and the economy but also creating racial hatred and tension. And this is causing an increase in farm attacks and farm murders.
Communities having been given farms that were fantastic viable entities they now are starving, unable to make a living and resorting back to barren stretches of open ground where they attempt a little bit of subsistence farming.
