In this video by ‘Palaestra Media,’ we see a visit by Jonas Nilsson to the town of Orania, in the Northern Cape, South Africa. It is a small community where only Whites live. Nilson interviews community members and gets first hand information about their reasons for moving into the area. The town was established in 1991, as an Afrikaner haven by Carel Boshoff, the grandson of former South African president Hendrik Verwoerd. This documentary covers the motivation behind Orania’s creation and the realisation of this town, a safe, functional, crime free, civilised place.

This is a society created by people who choose to live in an area that has traditional values, where family values and decent functional behaviour and goals are a priority. Children and families are safe and can live civilised functional lives, which is not an option in the corrupt, crime ridden South Africa.
