In this video by Renaldo Gouws we see how recently on twitter a honours student included “One Settler One Bullet” as part of his honours research project submission. Of course nothing gets done with regard this hate speech in the country and even the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town congratulated the student on his dissertation, of only a simple 35 pages mind you (that sums up the standard and ability), that included the racist comment. Can you just imagine if a white student had done something similar referring in anyway to blacks?
Renaldo summs this situation very well and calls out these racist bigots. But had this been a white individual this would have been trending on social media and the story would be carried by all the mainstream media groups. But alas, welcome to the racist South Africa, where once again the double standards of racism in South Africa continues.
