In this video by ‘ARC’ we see a Westville policeman come under fire from robbers who open fire on him. The result is one robber shot dead. The robbers fled along Rodger Sishi Road towards Pinetown in a white double cab bakkie with registration ND 398 210 after the shootout at Jan Hofmeyer Road outside the Westville Village Market mall, in Durban on 28 November 2019.
The robbers attempted to rob the Post Office just after 08:30. There is no other information available at this stage.
