Celebrities make a lot of money, and they also spend a lot of it. While most of these expenditures are warranted, there are times when they blow away money on stuff that would leave your head spinning. When we talk about celebrity royalty, the Beckhams are right up there with the best. Victoria is a highly accomplished singer and model. Her husband, David Beckham, is one of the best footballers to ever put on an England jersey and has gone on to become one of the finest fashion icons of our time. The pair has accumulated hundreds of millions of pounds between them. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that they can spend their money with the best of them – which of course, they did. His boyish good looks and charm have made him one of the most beloved actors of our time, and he has never been one to shy away from the limelight, even when that meant spending more than a couple hundred thousand bucks. In 2009, Pitt made his way to an art fair in Basel, Switzerland, ostensibly looking for a little something to decorate his walls back home. These are just some examples of the kind of lifestyle the average South African could only dream of. Whether it’s for PR purposes or not, celebrities are people after all, and we’re all allowed to “live a little”, from time to time.
