Five males were arrested by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) IIOC Undercover Reaction Unit together with the Soweto Crime Intelligence for Armed Robbery in Bram Fischerville, Soweto.
On Thursday, 25 May 2023, in the early hours of the morning officers received information about suspects that committed armed robbery at a Shoprite in Dobsonville.
The officers proceeded to the given address in Bram Fischerville, and upon their arrival, two males were found at the premises. Both males were searched and one male was found to be in possession of an unlicensed firearm. The other male was linked to the footage of the Shoprite business robbery. Both suspects were arrested.
